Monday Morning Inspiration

I recently happened upon a man by the name of Kei Kagami. Known for his shoe designs,

he was initially an architect. He decided to leave the building industry and pursue his passion for fashion design. He studied at Central Saint-Martins College in London and graduated with honors in 1991. His work is extraordinary, courageous and he's truly a pioneer in the integration of architecture and fashion. He combines draping with a new and innovative smocking technique that is like nothing I have ever seen before. Just take a look and I'm sure that you will be in the same state of awe that I am.

His clothing designs are sculptural and yet have the feel of movement. What an honor it would be to meet this incredibly gifted designer.
Wishing you all a lovely, productive and imagine filled week :)
Rhonda

  1. Wow, these designs are just incredible. They are so beautiful. Sinuous and organic and architectral at the same time. Speechless (and that doesn't happen very often). Thank you for sharing these. Xx
